Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ¨C 10 October 2009 ¨C Day Two of Beauty9 Expo, the region¡¯s largest beauty industry trade platform welcomed 5,000 visitors, including 1000 public visitors, to the four-day expo at the Putra World Trade Centre.

Whilst trade visitors were busy visiting exhibitor booths and planning new ventures, competition at the Main Stage was awash with colors during Makeup Malaysia 2009, a makeup competition for student and amateur make-up artists.

With the theme Bird of Paradise, the competition showcased the up and coming talents of make-up artists to transform their models to incorporate the theme. Utilizing their skills, they successfully demonstrated how a plain Jane could take flight in paradise.

Tan Chin Fong emerged not only the winner of this competition but also picked up the Most Creative award too. The Star Educator prize was jointly awarded to Suxin Yap and Sanny Mok.

Apart from the competitions, Day Two of Beauty9 Expo also enlightened trade visitors through their seminar entitled ¡°How to Increase Your Beauty Salon Sales¡± with educational tips on increasing sales by applying the Simple-Target-Setting-Approach and on the most economic and effective approaches to increasing Beauty salon sales.

Many of the visitors who attended the seminar expressed their gratitude to Interexpo (M) Sdn Bhd for their concerted effort in providing not only a business platform, but also educational opportunities for them during Beauty9 Expo. ¡°This is the third time I¡¯m attending Beauty Expo¡±, informed Ms Gene Thian, who traveled all the way from Kuching, Sarawak. ¡°I¡¯m here to update myself and find out the latest trends¡±, says the thirty-four year old employee of a beauty academy in Kuching.

Some of the other exciting stage events that happened on Day Two of Beauty9 Expo included exhibitors¡¯ educational talks, Front Page Studio¡¯s Annual EC Nail Examination, Snip College of Arts ¡°Dream Factory¡± Student Competition and The Miracle Makeup of Revecen Stage Show.
